The Monge-Ampere equation arises in physical and geometric problems related to atmospheric flow, optimal transport, and prescribed curvature. In this mini-course we will discuss the classical existence, uniqueness and regularity theory for this PDE, along with applications. At the end we will describe some recent results and future directions.

This workshop is intended for advanced undergraduate, graduate students and researchers interested in the analysis of partial differential equations and affine disciplines.

All lectures will be in english.
